On this page you will find many resources to guide you through your summer reading and grammar practice.
Under the 9th and 10th grade Summer Reading tab, you will find each required book for your grade level (excluding Honors English). There are helpful tools such as discussion questions, study guides, and important quotes for each of the books. The Summer Reading blog is set up for a reference where you can post a question or comment.
Tips for Summer Reading: DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO START READING!!! START IN JUNE AND PACE YOURSELF!!!
Keep a journal
Keep track of character names and character traits
Highlight key points throughout the book
Pay attention to quotes that define a character
Refer to the Blog regularly for clarification and communication with teachers and other students.
Suggested Time Frame: The books can be read in any order; this is just a guide to follow if you choose.
